Queen Ilsa
Queen Ilsa Njordsdotter Reginus
(( Player character and DM Avatar of Arkosis ))
Once hereditary Queen of the City of Eros (a city-state on the wild border between Rashemen and Thay), a title inherited from her father.
While in Waterdeep, two diplomats from the Kingdom of Haven encountered the visiting Queen Ilsa from Eros and managed to convince her to abdicate her throne in Eros in order to take over the mystery of the disappearances of Haven. She assumed control of the government and brought over a large number of Erosians to get to the bottom of the problem.
Much later she fell ill and was taken to Waterdeep for care, once there they determined it was a curse of divine origin most likely invoked with the power of Shar. The Queen left Telron Elvenforge in charge of her holdings as Viceroy of Haven.
After a time she was placed in a healing stasis, to keep her from wasting away while Haven searched for a cure (or way to break the curse).
There was some talk of letting the Queen die to be resurrected or let go on to her serve her Patron Akadi. Auguries held dire omens however for the state of a soul under such a curse and thought of this course of action was abandoned.
