This site has a new feature that allows users to create sub-accounts and switch back and forth between them. I think this is a great feature that will allow us to do more immersive RP even when not logged into the NWN2 client.

It is intended to be used to allow you to create a master OOC player account (preferably matching your gamespy account name) and IC sub accounts for your characters, we call character accounts.

Use the Personae block (found in to the left side of the website near the top) to create these character accounts. Type the name of the character as it appears on your Char Sheet in game, spaces and ' included (don't use crazy symbols or color coding but those should not be in your name anyway), and then hit Create.

Once Personae accounts exist, the "Switch to Character" will appear (also in the left column, in the Personae block) to allow you to quickly change back and forth between these accounts. A handy indicator of waiting PMs has been added for the Character accounts while on the player account.

Please:

• When joining IC groups, join with the character account. Group admins should reject or ignore requests to join groups from player accounts.
  
• When managing IC Groups, keep them clean, remove player accounts and insist on Character Accounts.
  
• When making posts follow the general rule of using the Player account for OOC posts and the appropriate Character Account for IC posts.
