Jurisdiction of the City of Sharessia is the city proper, and additionally Sunbright Isle.

The initial area of the docks up to the Harbormaster's station is considered special, and Sharessian warrants and the bared weapon laws are not enforced as a courtesy towards travelers.

All Laws of Haven apply here.

Citizens, servants and visitors of the City of Sharessia are expected to behave themselves at all times. Certain behaviors are unacceptable:

Crimes of Treason

Additionally disobeying the Sharessian Guard.

Crimes of Violence

Same as laws of Haven. Slave taking is prohibited unless voluntary collaring is down through the Viceroy. Sharessia has no slaves or servants of its own but respects Haven, Kortugan, Thayan and Underdark collars.

Crimes of Harassment

Same as laws of Haven.

Crimes against property

Same as laws of Haven.

Infractions

Carrying a bared weapon in the city, littering.

The summonings, control and existence of undead, demons, devils and elemental is hereby banned from Sharessia and Sunbright Isle.

Casting of Planar Bindings and the spell Earthquake is also explicitly banned within the town.

Felines, sacred to the Patron Sharess are protected. Assault on a feline is considered equally with assault on a citizen.

Obey the orders of the Sharessian Guard (full not provisionals), in the pursuance of public order. If an order is not obeyed it is deemed disturbing the peace, which may result in fines or incarceration. (Usually considered a petty treason, see Treason above.)

All complaints may be directed to the Sharessian Guard or Lord Telron.
