The Forgotten Realms is the brand name for the world, Toril, in which the Neverwinter Nights and Baldur's Gate games are set. Forgotten Realms is a Registered Trademark of Wizards of the Coast (WoTC).
Haven's timeline is in the 3.5e era a few years after NWN2 and expansions.
Haven accepts the lore of the realms as "Canon" meaning sanctioned history, with minor additions and changes (such as the Kingdom of Haven, itself, which we will try to document here), just as most who use it in PnP (Paper and Pencil) or Online.
