Subjects of topics when opened
Hello!
I have to say I'm overall quite pleased with the site functionality - it looks really lovely, with one exception.
When opening a topic, it's nigh impossible to find the name of the topic. I often have to look at my browser's adress line to remember what I just opened, when my intuition seeks the subject line from above the thread opener's text.
Is this something that could be changed?
EDIT: Actually, just noticed that long account names break the line between the poster's profile and the post itself. A small thing, but just happened to notice.

KEMO Crafting 2.0 - Gems for the Anal Retentive
Well, after a couple of years of playing with the system, I have observed several things that I find interesting, and that I feel could be changed in the use of materials and recipes.
I started to notice than many gems had no use in the system, and others were in such high demand for a variety of crafts, that they were only used in the best item in their group.

include scroll function in "who's online" drop box
i think it would be nice to have a scroll function embedded in the "who's online" drop box field. sometimes there are 20 people online and i only show 10.
KEMO Crafting 2.0 feedback
Not sure how to address this, but I have noticed that some of the materials that are needed in numbers, are all but impossible to find.
I am talking about Will-O-Wisp Glamers, Drider Silks, Dinosaur Claws, Phase Spider Legs, and I am sure a few others.
When you need 6 of something that drops almost never, the top end items crafted from them become impossible to acquire, and since the lesser items are rarely crafted, they become non existent.
I have been thinking of solutions to this problem for a while, and have a few possible solutions:
1) Increase the drop rate of these items.

Minor improvement idea for usability / new homepage

just a minor idea, I thought might be worth considering. I would consider it helpfull, if when using masquerade on logging into the main account, if a small number behind your characters would show numbers of PMs directed to that character. Would make it a lot easier to handle the switching.
So it might look like this, when you are not masqueraded:
Masquerade
Quick switches:
- Char (-0-)
- Char (-3-)
- Char (-0-)
- Char (-1-)
...

KEMO Crafting 2.0
For a start. I love the new crafting system over the NWN2 version, which made no sense, and allowed a single character to be a Master of All Trades, and Jack of None. 
However, all things can be made better, and this is the place to discuss what you do not like about the new system, but more importantly, recommendations on ways to make it better.

Forums issues
Working out a few issues with the forums on this site.
Noted that new threads in group private forums where not as private one would hope.
Turns out need to turn off the default "Authenticated user view any" permission on the Access control page. Can do this as a default but then new threads can't be read even in the general discussion threads.
Toyed with making a General Discussion or Communication Group and then realized that non-members of Groups can't create new threads in group public forums. They can try but they can't select the forum and it's not properly set for them.

Note on web layout: Been squeezing it a bit.
Layout is deliberately wide, with extra's in the right column intended to be cut off on smaller screens.
However, we did notice content area is a bit wide for eye tracking on high text nodes/pages, so we've squeezed it a bit.
Kinda still working out the balance between high text pages and more structured pages like forums, which are getting a bit of a squeeze this way.
My sig was pretty long and therefore a casualty.

Journals as Character Blogs or Books?
Trying to decide whether we should do Journals as Character Blog Entries or as books.
Blog entries are pretty simple and I've already entered one of my old Journals as Telron's Blog.
They kind of crowd out the OOC Blogs though, am wondering if putting them elsewhere might not be better.
Journals could be segregated over to a different area and done with books and prev next. Slightly more complex for players though.
Not sure which is better.
