Anyone wishing to join the crew of The Purple Crow must accept the following rules:

The Purple Crow is a merchant ship. Her crew may craft the goods that are to be sold according to the individual skills of each member. But The Crow serves as a freight ship for other merchants and/or a yacth service for wealthy passengers as well. In her past, The Crow also dedicated herself to piracy, smuggling, espionage for major kingdoms, guilds and other organizations, and worked under privateering contracts. These are major activities The Crow regularly indulged into, and will keep on with them in the future as well.

All members of the crew can negotiate working contracts on behalf of The Crow, but every assigment must be mutually accepted by each and every member of the crew. The contract can be negotiated further, and finally signed by the Captain of The Crow.

When The Crow is sailing, each and every member of the crew must give his support in manoveurs and other required duties (tiding, cleaning the deck, cooking, minor repairs, etc.) during day hours. At night guarding turns will be instituted.

When The Crow is docked, guarding turns will be equally shared among each and every member of the crew. Those not involved in such duties can disembark and indulge in every favoured activity.

To each and every member of the crew is granted freedom of speech and major decisions are taken in community. In the event of a controversy about a decision, a public votation by hand-raising will decide upon the debated subject and majority wins. Captain's vote counts twice.

Under challenging and dangerous circumstances (such as sea-fights or storms), Captain's decisions can't be questioned at all. That's the only exception to the rule above.

Each income, gain or loot is equally shared among all crew members.

In the event of Captain's sudden death, a new captain is chosen among crew members via a public votation by hand-raising. New Captain can also choose to disband the crew and sell the ship. If such occasion arises, the income is equally shared among crew members.
