Is there a way to remove Groups?
Since the Grand Lodge is defunct, I would like to try to remove it from the list of Groups, so people do not try to become members, etc...
Thanks.
Thanks.
Wiki definition pages
Please create wiki definition pages for your group.
Easy way to do this is with by including a link to it in the mission statement, by typing [[Insert Group Name Here]].
One the change has been saved and you are viewing the group node, click on the link and if it doesn't exist you will get a chance to create.
Be sure to select the audience and public under the group section of the "add" web form. (Although this can be fixed later if you forget.)

Fixed a few things about groups
I think I've fixed several misconfigurations regarding groups.
One is I needed to grant "Administer Groups" permissions to "Authenticated Users" to allow you to mark a node (being a wikipage or forum topic) as Public.
This should allow you to create wiki "definition" pages for your group, similar to the one I just did for the Arcanist Guild.
Secondly on public forums, I found I needed to manage the forum (under Group Details, reset it's publicity ("reset publicity") and then "make public" again. New topics should be set public after that.

Introduction : What is a Group
A group is something users of this site can use to give to a given set of users (refered as "group members") access to resources inaccessible to others, create new forums, blogs, wiki pages and book to share information on given topic.

Bar,
I am almost software illiterate. I focussed most of my career on the first three layers of the OSI model, and have stuck to Routers, Switches, Fiber Optics and Cat5. So excuse me if this sounds ignorant.
How the heck do I set up a Group for the Grand Lodge?
