Let be known Elvawen Elrio, is to pay off the debt to Marsius Gemlin for the attempted theft of his spellbook on Enclave grounds, as a slave, the fine is no more than 300,000 gold pieces, as the book contains dangerous spells that could harm hundreds of innocents in the hands of a normal person.
Sincerely
Marsius Gemlin

What is your authority to do this. And slaves have no gold to pay you so how do you propose the sentence is to be carried out?

I see absolutely no reason to hold this person at all. I was there when she supposively stole from Master Marius and his statements against said girl were just alittle slightly exagerated. I suggest freeing this poor girl on the basis that she has not been seen for over a month and it would be a waste of enclave resources hunting down a free person to collect 300,000 gold for a crime that there is no witnesses to. Not to mention outside our walls it is highly illegal to collar a free person. If this leaked out at all it would cause diplomatic strain with the people of Sharessia.

I disagree on the diplomatic strains. Theft on thayan soil is a serious crime. I think the temporary enslavement was more than kind. Traditionally we'd have taken the hand that stole, or directly the head.
However, I agree that we have more important matters to worry about than this stupid thief (not "poor girl").

Apprentice Linnea would show an interest to use this girl for some transmution experiments she had planned for her research.
If possible, of course.
