I used the OOC Brazer to delete a character so that I can change a feat and skill that I got needlessly... Well deleting the character went fine, however, when I recreated the character with the same name, I did not receive any of the gold or items that I had previously stored in the bank. Granted, I -did- get my XP back, just nothing else... I'm thinking this is a bug, but maybe it is my err... Anyway, posting.
Record of Lost Items:
  • Chain Shirt +3
  • Adamantine Rapier
  • Rapier
  • Club +1
  • 1765 GP

You're not supposed to delete, simply revamp from level 1.

Well if you delete, you are suppose to visit the bank, and drop your stuff there, or have a friend hold your stuff. I believe it warns you.

Its not a bug, as it's a major feature to store and restore all your items for a rebuild, one that we've never attempted.

I recommend giving it to a friend, as I lost everything too on a character.

I've always given items to a friend in a bag or box. Make sure they save immediately after being given your stuff (resting is the easiest way to force a save).

I've always left a few things in storage and in the craftbanker during rebuilds, just to see what would happen, and those things remained just fine. But I still hear of cases where the bank fails on rebuilds *shrugs*.

It keeps the stuff in your bank, craftbank and storage just fine during the remake. All that gets lost is your characters actual inventory so its sufficient to stuff everything you have into the bank and retrieve it after youre done re-rolling.

In fact the brazier specifically tells you this when you try to select the option for full remakes. Smile
