All Servants enter Haven as property of Queen Ilsa and the Crown of Haven. The crown is the sole controller of all unowned Servants, and other free people may not issue orders to Servants, excepting those listed as having authority, below. The only exception to this is that, during auctions, Auctioneer Zed has complete control over Servants being auctioned.

Servants of the crown are slaves, owned property, but with some rights and regulating authorities.

Servants of the Crown are required to be respectful and polite to each other and free-persons, and obey their superiors and officials of the crown in all matters.

Officials include servants granted authority in the servant corps (Head Servant Lorick), Judges, officers of the Royal and Sharessian guard (but not provisional guards), Knights of the Order of Thorn, Princess Lilium and Viceroy Telron Elvenforge.
